France Recognizes Dual Nationality

Although French law does not contain an express provision on dual nationality, French law RECOGNIZES dual nationality.  Filipinos who have acquired French citizenship and opt to obtain dual citizenship by virtue of RA 9225 are not required to renounce their French citizenship.

Australia allows Dual Citizenship to its Citizens

An Australian citizen is allowed dual citizenship by Australian laws, provided the other citizenship is acquired after April 4, 2002.

Before April 4, 2002, Section 17 of the Australian Citizenship Act 1948 did not allow dual citizenship to Australians. This section has been repealed.
