Australia allows Dual Citizenship to its Citizens

An Australian citizen is allowed dual citizenship by Australian laws, provided the other citizenship is acquired after April 4, 2002.

Before April 4, 2002, Section 17 of the Australian Citizenship Act 1948 did not allow dual citizenship to Australians. This section has been repealed.
